True Wealth
By: Katherine Clemons
Dear Dreamer,
I want you to know it’s still possible. No matter how many years have gone by or the failures you’ve faced, it’s not too late to dream again. True wealth is built on your dreams, and yet few reach it.
Today, I’ll give you the secrets of becoming the few. Nothing is impossible. In fact, the word itself says, “im possible.”
Create a Personal Definition of Wealth
When you were a child, the world was limitless. You believed in things like magic and Santa without a doubt. So, why now do you struggle to believe in yourself?
Maybe it’s because you don’t know what you’re looking for. At least with Santa, you saw the presents under the tree, right? Well, Let’s make you a believer in your dreams, and define what you’re looking for.
What does “true wealth” mean to you, and what “presents” come with receiving true wealth?
For me, true wealth is living a life that feels handcrafted and it allows me to spend time with friends and family, marathon train throughout the week, and provide life-changing information to female founders through my newsletter.
So, what’s true wealth to you?
Use the sentence structure below to create your true wealth statement:
True wealth is (your definition), and it allows me to (3 “presents” you receive from true wealth).
Break your Idea into Bite-Sized Pieces
Now that you know what you’re looking for, we can break down your “presents” into actionable steps you can start today!
Step 1: Based on your true wealth statement, create goals you can complete within 1 - 3 years.
Step 2: Based on your 1-3 goals, create goals you can complete within the next 90 days.
Step 3: Based on your 90-day goals, what actions do you need to do weekly?
Step 4: To complete your weekly goals, what can you do today?
Now that you have a starting point, you’re on your way to achieving true wealth. I only have one more piece of advice for you.
Enjoy the Journey
Having a plan is exciting, but remember to enjoy the journey. Those who hyper-focus on the outcome become frustrated and quit. Enjoying the journey helps you forget about the time and throws you into today.
The days will pass anyway, you can be one step closer to true wealth or you can frustrate yourself into quitting. The choice is yours, and no matter what you choose, remember it’s never too late to dream and try again.
With all my love,
Katherine Clemons
